District Interact Conference : Episode 3

Finally...the last episode...lets see..what happened on that day....by 7am everyone woke up already and headed for the cafeteria to wait for further instructions....over there me and Rabin started buying a few badges from Keat Hwa Secondary School when suddenly....the cafeteria becomes like a market...goodness!!...people were rushing to our table to look at the badges for sale....

People rushing to our table to look/buy the badges

After that, there was a call for everyone to go to the hall for breakfast...they served fried rice and teh tarik (super sweet, it'll give you diabetes)....after that the special group presentation began...starting with my group.....then Rabin's group and so on....

Special group presentation (notice Rabin in the 2nd picture)

Around that time, people were called to check out of their rooms....at 12 noon...it was our turn to check out....after we checked out of our rooms..we headed to the hall for lunch....after lunch we went straight to the cafeteria to wait for transport to the airport (for Rabin) and to the Sg. Nibong bus station (me).....before we left we took a few pictures with the Damansara Utama interactors...and the chairman himself (Rotarian Eric)....

District Interact Conference : Episode 2

Welcome back to the story....lets see...where should I begin...ok then...on the 2nd day, everyone had to wake up by 7 am...In fact we had to go for aerobic exercises...but due to some problems..it was canceled....therefore...we had to change our clothes to our Interact uniform...oh boy...the cafeteria was swarming with all lots of interactors wearing different uniform colours

In the cafeteria

After about half an hour we were required to wait outside the cafeteria as a pick up zone to the hall....arriving to the hall took some time as everyone was cutting lines trying to board the bus....Once we arrived we had our breakfast outside the hall....

Outside the hall
(This picture was taken on the first day..notice the 2 bags below)

After having breakfast everyone were required to go to the hall....the hall wasn't as big as in Universiti Malaya... after that...we had to listen to speeches by past presidents of the Rotary Club....there were only 2 speeches that got my attention during that time...one was about financial issues about how an average person will go bankrupt by the age of 65 or something like that...and also the talk about the foreign exchange program to South Korea...anyone interested?....for more info about the foreign exchange program...ask Rabin

In the hall

After all the speeches were done...time for lunch!!....phew...that was long......seriously long....soon after that a special discussion group was formed by 5 different groups combined...all together there were 4 special groups consisting of a total of 24 groups...the presentation was to be given out by the next day...after those...another discussion was held for each individual groups...this time for the night performance/sketch...as the time passed by...it was soon already 6pm...by then we headed back to our dorms by bus....by 8pm, dinner has already started in the hall....after dinner the performance/sketch soon started...in the end both my group and Rabin's group didn't win at all....by then it was already 12 midnight...therefore...lights out...
